what is

The Hebrew word “Aliyah” means ascent or rise, and it is the Hebrew word used to describe immigration to Israel; the return of the Jews from the four corners of earth to their biblical homeland.

Love 153 has been supporting Aliyah since 2013, working together with the Jewish Agency for Israel to support families from all over the world who are returning to the promised land and beginning a new life here!

The Jewish Agency for Israel

The Jewish Agency provides the global framework for Aliyah, ensures global Jewish safety, strengthens Jewish identity and connects Jews to Israel and one another, and conveys the voice of the Jewish People to the State of Israel to help shape its society.

why is Aliyah important?

Aliyah is the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy!

27 When I have brought them back from the nations and have gathered them from the countries of their enemies, I will be proved holy through them in the sight of many nations. 28 Then they will know that I am the Lord their God, for though I sent them into exile among the nations, I will gather them to their own land, not leaving any behind.

 Ezekiel 39:27-28

As believing gentiles, we are also fulfilling the scriptures when we support Aliyah!

This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "See, I will beckon to the Gentiles, I will lift up my banner to the peoples; they will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders ..."

2022&2023

Since the beginning of war in Ukraine in 2022, around 14,000 Ukrainian refugees made aliyah to Israel and are now beginning a new life in the land.

Love 153 supports the Jewish Agency directly, raising funds to enable refugees to reach Israel.

We also brought essential household items and food to hundreds of Ukrainian families, as well as organizing fun events for the children, and an opportunity to comfort and encourage the parents and elderly.

In 2022 we directly support the Aliyah Service Center hotline, which give assistance to those wanting to make aliyah.

In 2023 we directly supported the aliyah from high risk countries.
